2020-07-01 - What's Going on with all The "Dead Trees" - Spring Tree Woes in the open space tracts

Please review Spring Tree Woes 2020 recent report provided by John Murgel and Alison O'Connor, Horticulture Extension Agents. The Lincoln Park Metropolitan District professional landscape staff is currently in the process of assessing the health/strength of those trees in the open space tracts that do not appear to be in good condition. Once that review is completed those trees that are clearly identified as dead will have a visual mark placed on them for removal. The final decision/direction/timing on the removal and replacement of those trees is a Lincoln Park Metropolitan District Board of Director decision. As we have more information regarding this overall process and timing, we will reach back out to our resident constituents via our e-News.
