2020-07-01 - What's Going on
with all The "Dead Trees" -
Spring Tree Woes
in the open space tracts |
Please review Spring Tree Woes
2020 recent report provided by John Murgel and Alison O'Connor,
Horticulture Extension Agents. The Lincoln Park Metropolitan District
professional landscape staff is currently in the process of assessing the
health/strength of those trees in the open space tracts that do not appear
to be in good condition. Once that review is completed those trees that
are clearly identified as dead will have a visual mark placed on them for
removal. The final decision/direction/timing on the removal and
replacement of those trees is a Lincoln Park Metropolitan District Board
of Director decision. As we have more information regarding this overall
process and timing, we will reach back out to our resident constituents
via our e-News. |

place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious
disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the

2020-03-26 - COVID-19 Public
Health Order |
On March 26, 2020, residents of
Colorado were ordered to stay at home by Executive Order D 2020 017 issued
by Governor Jared Polis (“the Order”) and the associated Updated Public
Health Order 20-24 issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health &
Environment (“the PHO”). The PHO states “All public and private gatherings
of any number of people occurring outside a Residence are prohibited,
except for the limited purposes expressly permitted in this PHO which
include Essential Activities.” |
In accordance with the Order and
the PHO, the Lincoln Park Metropolitan District is closing all recreational facilities
immediately, including, but not limited to, the District's playgrounds,
tennis courts,
and picnic areas. The District will keep park trails open to allow
residents to exercise. Residents that use District trails must comply with
the State mandated Social Distancing Requirements. |
